Frank Acheampong celebrates his goal on Saturday night
Ghana winger Frank Acheampnog, who is not fully fit, scored his third goal in two matches in the Belgian top-flight as they emphatically defeated Zulte Waregem 3-0 on Saturday night.
Acheampong who was doubtful for the game because of the calf injury he picked up in training on Friday, was one of the key actors for Anderlecht as they coasted to the emphatic victory.
The final score was 3-0 after goals by Frank Acheampong, Alexander Büttner and Matias Suarez.
The first half started off with chances on both sides of the pitch. Anderlecht had most ball possession and there were several scoring opportunities through Praet, Djuricic and Acheampong.
The Ghanaian winger was more successful a couple of minutes later, as he scored his third goal in two matches.
It was his third goal in two matches for Anderlecht after being deployed in a playmaker role which is allowing him to express himself more.
He was substituted in the 63rd minute but doesn't come as a surprise as he is struggling with a calf injury.
