Enough of the thievery Mahama - CPP woman fumes

John Dramani Mahama ShadesThe first female Member of Parliament of Ghana in the erstwhile Nkrumah regime, Lucy Anning is calling on the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to give way for the Convention People's Party (CPP) to rule Ghana.

According to her, the only legacy the Mahama-led government has left for Ghanaians is unbridled poverty and debts.

Ms. Lucy Anning made the comment in an exclusive interview with Adom News’ Isaac Normenyo as part of their coverage of the marks Founder’s Day celebrations to mark the birthday of Ghana’s first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

The CPP stalwart who played a vital role in the Nkrumah regime maintained that until the CPP wins power, Ghana will never progress.

She indicated in Ghana today, the rich are becoming richer and the poor becoming poorer due to the mismanagement of the economy by the NDC.

“People have become multi-millionaire overnight due to the thievery in government so I say enough of the thievery Mahama go and let CPP take Ghanaians to the promise land,” she stressed.

Ms. Anning said the only dream of the CPP is to put Ghana on a higher pedestal and not steal from the state like other governments have done over the years.

She said she is always sad because her grandchildren abroad have refused to visit her since the Ghana they knew has gone from bad to worse.

Ms. Lucy Anning called on well-meaning Ghanaians to join her in the campaign to oust the NDC and also vote massively for the CPP to win the 2016 elections.

“I always pray for God to forgive us our sins and allow the CPP to bring the dream of Dr. Nkrumah into fruition,” she added.
